One new feature you’ll notice at AC is that we’ve been selected by Google Maps and Nate Query, the bass player of The Decemberists, as one of his favorite places in San Francisco.

“American Cyclery. A bike shop that’s been around for decades. They have lots of cool antique bike stuff, but they also have great new bikes and bike parts.” Thanks Nate, we appreciate your praise and thanks to Google for letting everyone know about it.

So in this honor, we’ll leave you with a video of one of our favorite Decemberists songs, “The Sporting Life”. Although not about cycling, I can easily interpret this song’s emotions through the heart of the perpetual Domestique.

That’s Right, as of today we have a size run of the MASH/Cinelli collaboration Vigorelli track frame sets. Oh, snap!

These beauties have one of the best paint schemes I’ve seen, very Film Noir all gray tone.

So hurry up and mash up here and pick one up while they last, $875 and this gem is yours.

Belgian children had it so good. French children on the other hand enjoyed an entire selection of Bibendums to play with. Way better than a Doughboy.

Find your current saddle lacking in lumbar support? Feeling a bit of drag off the backside?

I’ve been told Selle Italia’s revolutionary Appoggio Lombare was banned from competition use as an unfair advantage. Apparently opposing teams would erupt into fits of laughter and thus lose time.
