Our and your favorite tubular glue is back in stock, after a year plus hiatus.

No one really knows where Soyo went for so long, but we can only imagine Soyo was on walkabout seeing the world. Soyo is so good at keeping tires firmly and safely attached to rims, and works hard at it. Soyo deserved a vacation and we’re glad to see Soyo back so well rested and tan.

Our talented and vivacious young sales assistant Alan kicks it with Soyo, straight up old school.

Being the cultured patrons of the arts that we are, last night we washed the bike grease off our faces and headed over to Studio Forbes for the Coalition of Architects and Bikers.

Many of American Cyclery’s vintage track bikes were on display, as well as some vintage parts and accessories.

Among the favorites displayed was this Oscar Wastin track racer from the 20’s, built specifiacally for professional racer and original owner of American Cyclery, Oscar Juner.

My personal favorite was this beautiful blue Colnago track racer painted in the markings of an East German race team.

Some great details are the low flange Record Pista hubs with only 24 holes, laced up with Alpina bladed spokes. Pretty much the most Italian an East German bike could get.

The San Francisco Bike Coalition was also in attendance with valet bike parking, and a custom single speed bike was raffled off to benefit the SFBC. A big thanks to Studio Forbes for hosting such a fine event.

This project was a fun one, it’s not every day you get to do a build with new old stock 50th anniversary Record bits. This Pegoretti turned out well, with a classic style and some modern amenities.

The gold plated crank dust caps came with a special 50th anniversary pin spanner!

Even toe-clips came in the 50th grouppo.
